A Letter Lost At Sea

With each stroke of my pen I pour my heart upon these pages, only to have each letter washed away by the tears that fall from these eyes of blue. I have to think that God himself did make us into corresponding shapes like puzzle pieces from the clay. And true it may seem like a stretch but it's thoughts like this that catch my troubled head when you're away, when I am missing you to death. I try my best to leave all my wants and needs buried deep, but the persistent beating of my heart won't let me forget the love I can't regret, that lives and breathes for you.
